NOTE we do not accept applications from citizens of countries requiring a visa to enter the UK

We do accept applications from citizens from a small number of countries via UK Standard Visitor Entry for visits to a registered charity for a maximum of 30 days as per UK regulations. (for this you do not need a Visa but you will require an Electronic Travel Authorisation which lasts 2 years available simply online from the UK government)

ELIGIBIBLE COUNTRIES FOR THIS SCHEME: If you are from the European Union, USA, Canada, Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, some other countries authorised by H.M. Government via Standard Visitor Entry then you are welcome to apply.

How to get started:

• Apply online for  an ETA (electronic travel authorization)

• Fill in our registration form.

• Receive read and agree to our Induction Documents.

• Then engage in lengthy process of question and answer and familiarization via WhatsApp

If you are age 18-28 (16-18 with parental support) this is an opportunity to visit England for a short time. Here you can learn a range of skills in horticulture, conservation, art & design, and other subjects. You can immerse yourself in and learn about British culture and society. And take part in local community activities. It can increase your understanding of yourself  and the world, and form friendships.

ACCOMMODATION: The usual period of stay is 30days. You will be provided with accommodation and three meals a day.  Accommodation is at the home of the Founder (female students will be placed with a local host family if available). There is a bus stop right outside the house which runs every 20 minutes. 

OPPORTUNITIES: You can improve your English language, visit places of historical & cultural interest; familiarise yourself themselves with British society & customs and make new friends. There is mountain bike for your use. And a fully equipped gymnasium. And a library. You will have your own bedroom. Your host teacher is an expert on English history, customs and tradition and will sometimes guide you on excursions. We can get you fixed up with local sports clubs such as:  football volleyball basketball etc. There is a wood carving club in the village. 

EXCURSIONS: Some places nearby you can visit are: Bristol, Bath, the English coast, Aveburyhenge, Salisbury, Stonehenge, Oxford, Cardiff, Gloucester. From the local railway station you can travel direct all over England. (Get yourself an 18-25 railcard which costs 35 pounds and gives you 1/3 discount of all rail journeys)

Accommodation and all tution  (and also some excursions to interesting places) are provided free.

So far we have welcomed student visitors from: Switzerland, U.S.A., France, Germany, South Korea, Italy, Hungary, Finland, Poland, Norway,  Sweden, Denmark, Australia, Japan, Netherlands, Czechia, Belgium.
